The Sunset Range

Here is a high rocky range, a tree covered ridge that travels across the land as far as the eye can see. It makes months to travel it's length and weeks to travel across it. It is known as the 'sunset' range for where ever the sun hits the rocks or trees it gives them a redish glow, a fiery gleam that catches the eye. It is a terra of a fiery liver chestnut stally who is fire itself, he guards it from harm and protects it's inhabitance, puting his herd's life before his own.
